I read this just now... Poor baby was hungry, he had left her chained up to a chair so he could go boozing! He also admitted to hitting her in the past as well. Only a baby of 18mths, no life at all.
Its really about time the punishment fitted the crime, lifetime ban of keeping any animal and imprisonment for the time that dog should have been alive... say 10 years - hard time!

R.I.P darling girl, forever free at the Bridge xxx

I despair of the human race at times. I hope he suffers in prison. He is scum. I was so glad his own children want nothing to do with him. lets hope that hurts him as much as he hurt that poor baby. Run free sweet Sky, no one cant hurt you now. xx

What a vile man!!! what I can't work out is, why they have only stopped him from having pets for 10 yrs, surely common sense would say if a person can do this once they have it in them to do again. sooo sad poor pup

This is so sad No doubt he will get protection from the police when he is released in 10 weeks as he will un-doubtably and understandably get a lot of stick for what he has done.

I know it said that his children are not happy with him but if they live with him it is sad for them too as they can no longer have another dog either.
