Blood in poo - can anyone help please?

hi there ive got a 2 year old ginger brindle staff and she not been right for a couple of days i just went to cleen her poo up and i seen abit of blood init does any 1 have an idea what could be wrong with her

Hi grizzy ~ the blood in poo could be down to a lot of reasons & if your dog hasn't been right for a few days, I think you'd be better off getting a vet visit pronto.

I hope it's nothing serious & your dog is back in full health soon.

not really, we arent qualified vets.

Best bet would be to pop her along to the vets for a check up. Hope all goes well.

Take her along to your vet for a check up and take a bit of the poo with blood in it with you as that will help the vet make a diagnosis.

shes fine the vets said it was caused by bones she been chewing thank god for that
