I had a 'menagerie' not so many years ago. But only one DAWG in it. But it did consist of 2 cats, one dog, one psycho rabbit, one guinea pig and an ancient giant tortoise. And you will believe me when I say they ALL played together quite happily in the garden!

I will try to find a photo for you.

Nah - it's one of those I've moved to disk grrr. I need a week at least to sort them out.

Meanwhile here's a piccie of just how many disparate CATS can get on when they ain't OWNED by anyone but just happen to all live in the same sanctuary. The humans are my eldest son and his wife - visiting the Malcolm Cat Sanctuary in Cyprus when I worked there

That is such a nice pic, I have to say, my dogs get on better with each other better than the flippin cats, or I should say one cat, Buffy, by name and nature, she will have a go at most things and she's a ragdoll, who are supposed to be laid back and easy going.....

She would be a good mate to Bella

Sounds like she would - the cartoon cat looks like it would make a good pal for Bella too! Bella likes cats (I'm not sure she differentiates twixt cats and dogs - being surrounded by cats here everywhere in Cyprus and her being about the same size or smaller than most of 'em) she happily trots up to all of them in the same way she would to a dog she wants to greet or play with.

Alas not ALL the cats in Cyprus want Bella for a 'playmate' and I do have to watch out that they don't swipe her eyes. Unfortunately she is the only dog hereabouts who is small enough to run underneath the cars like the cats do and she thinks that's a great game doesn't seem to realise they are doing it to get away from her. On their part they seem horrified that any dog can get under them too!
