Bad evening

As many of you know (due ot the lovely replys on the other thread). My mother lost one of her dogs this time last week.

Sadly tonight another seems to be 'giving up'

He is a 17 (ish) year old terrier, he came to us a couple of years ago when one owner died and another was moving into a home, he is a little ..... well words that cannot be used on a public forum all spring to mind

Earlier tongiht my mother called me...he had gone off his back legs, he would not stand/not eat and was just lying on the floor shaking. We rushed him to the vet....at which point he decided to walk again . The vet did a full examination and can find nothing wrong, however, when he got back to the car he wouldn't get up again and could not make it up the small step into the house.

Please spare a thought for him....little so and so that he is...(not the best picture I'm afraid)

Not sure what is wrong but I am thinking he is just tired of everything...he is a little fighter but it does seem to have gone out of him

Awww bless I'm sorry to hear this

I hope he is just missing your Mum's other dog (that isn't meant to sound nasty) and he will get better over time.

Really hope that if it is his time he goes in peace, but fingers crossed he is just having a bad day.

big hugs to you xxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you all.
I would hope for that outcome to (no offence taken)....

But I fear that would be very out of character for him, one of the other dogs is 'greiving' (or confused) a bit, althought they all had a sniff of her after she had gone.

Oh Hannah tell your Mum I'm thinking of her and you of course.

He looks a right wee character but maybe it's just his time to go. Hope if it is it's an easy passing for all your sakes

Hannah so sorry to hear this, like others I hope he is having a bad day but will come out of it. If not it sounds like you and your Mum have been a lifeline to the little so and so and have given the cheeky chap a good last couple of years.

Will be thinking of you
