I just googled your beach Pat (ended up on Trip advisor), and it reminds me of Palma along the front there, very nice, big hotels, nice prom. I'm with you on the solitary bit, either get out early before the numpties, or choose the right place, and it seems like you've found it there.

Here's Bella on the beaches on the other side of the airport - over Menou way.

Looks a lovely walk for Bella and you shame the Lizards weren't out spoil sports.

Blimey nearly falling over on wet marble and having to beware of nasty bitey spiders in the ditch. Maybe Helena can send you a rug to put across it next time or a magic one that you can ride over the ditch.

Magic Carpet sounds good tho it wouldn't go down well here if it was a Turkish one!

Here's where I live on the map. Between the lake and the sea. I've put a black star where my place is.

LOL! I'm not really doing that well with Tinypic am I? I had to change the links so many times where I left the old one in!

Drinking NOTHING ....................... YET!

And yes I am on the South Coast but people only really talk about East, West and Limassol (in the middle) if you say NORTH here they automatically think of the Occupied Territory in the North.

There's not much 'coast' in the Republic of Cyprus (or the South as some call it)

Here's a map of the whole island.

You can see the UN Buffer Zone separating the occupied North from the rest.

I am just about where it says Larnaka down the bottom on Larnaka Bay.

I've visited every single place named on that map and a lot that aren't on it too! I've seen more of Cyprus than most Cypriots have!
