It's an extra, and is quite expensive. It slots on to the end of the house and there is a lever thing on it that you depress and a series of gentle wire spikey things come out which you sweep through their coat. You then release the lever and the fur is sucked into the hose and up into the drum. It costs about £40 from memory, but may be less, it is absolutely brilliant and I can highly recommend it!

I have one of these and used it on the German Shepherds, it was brilliant, no hair flying around. I started using it when they were pups and they soon got used to it. When Khan saw me take it out of the drawer he would lay on the kitchen floor, he loved it.
