On top of all of this my car broke down this evening when I popped to the shops to get some food. Luckily I have good friends and a lovely Dad who came out, towed me to a mechanic and drove me home with all four dogs.

They got our internet restored quicker than that a couple of years ago when a munitions dump exploded and took out the island's main power station -
