Homing Requirements: Rocko needs a family to support him with home comforts and a companionship home. (He has had a rough life on the streets for the last few years with his previous owner). He could live along side another dog but he hasn't shown much interest in them so would also be happy as an only dog. Rocco could and has lived along cats, feathers and furries.

His Story: Rocko was owned by a homeless man living on the streets; he got accommodation and had to give up his companion Rocko to take it. A vet nurse took him in, treated him in preparation for homing and asked us if we would offer him a rescue place. Yes please! Rocko is newly neutered, chipped, wormed and vax'd.

Advert: Rocko is a gentle lad, delicate in looks and in nature. Rocko is not overtly 'licky' but appreciates company and enjoys strokes and comfort. Loves his home comforts and company. Enjoys the joy of a garden and adores toys. He is such a character and would settle with children over 6 years old. Housetrained and concerned in the car until he is familiar with the routine. Ignores cats and can live with them; similar with dogs.

Rocko is a 7 years young whippety Staffie without the chase drive. He is slender in build with unusual coat colouring within his brindle with white accessories! Everyone assigns the word “Gentle” to Rocko. He adores toys but soft toys last 'a moment'. He is happy for your interaction in their retrieval and engagement thereof. A puppy at heart with a lovely, lovely demeanour. A dear soul who makes a wonderful first time dog owners dog.

Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
