Rescued beagles – first steps to freedom

When a Spanish lab went out of business this year, 72 male beagles, used for testing, were rescued. Members of Animal Rescue Media Education (ARME) said that many of the beagles had never even been outside their cages and lived in 'rooms' of ten beagles, without having any contact with one another.

The dogs were rescued in June of this year and some of their first steps to freedom were posted on YouTube. Forty were put up for adoption in Los Angeles, U.S.
