I'd be interested in this too. Tipsy, are you looking at doing it just for fun?

Dawn Weaver, Knowledge equals speed.
covers all aspects but assumes some knowledge.
Laurie Leach, beginners Guide and Intermediate Guide to Agility. U.S based but covers everything

You don't need to be super competitive to enter shows.
Its a way of measuring your progress through the grades.
You will get a few eliminations in the beginning.
So it's good to accept your bad days without getting annoyed.
Its like breed shows , lots of waiting around between events can make it a very long day.
3 30 second runs across a day is typical.

if you join the agility club you get a magazine every month which often has good training articles in.

Also a dvd Q-Me by Dave Munnings covers the basics up to 3 jumps.
Greg derritt dvd's, handling style
susan Salo dvd , jumping specifics.
Would get expensive owning everything.
You will get there with only your training club.
Its more about don't learn bad habits.
