I'm sorry to hear you have RA . I was diagnosed with RA 20 years ago . I've not taken the drug you were prescribed.
I was very lucky that I saw a Rheumatoid consultant within 3 weeks of being diagnosed. I was prescribed Methotrexate and Inbuprofen and now I am on Embrel and MTX.
This is not something your GP can deal with so I really hope you get to see a consultant before any damage is done to your joints . Its a horrible painful illness but have hope because these new drugs are very good.
