Milly ate a mushroom!

Today has been a busy busy day for my spanielxcocker pup milly
We were in the garden running about i turn my back for one minute and find her eating a mushroom amongst the leaves on the floor. were'nt sure whether it was serious or not, so checked online and turns out the silly little thing ate a poisonous one.

Took her straight to emergancy vets for a costly price and poor little thing had to have her stomach pumped.
Vet said she'd be very dosile and could potentially throw up for the rest of tonight.

So we got home, and she's running around like mad, wanting to play!
You'd never have thought the little thing had been to doggy hospital today

Just a word of warning, if your pup ever happens to nibble a mushroom, take it to vets asap, my vet said every second counts, although some cases aren't critical, not worth the risk,
as for this little madam, i think 24 hour supervision is needed, haha

Glad your doggy is OK. Thank goodness you spotted it. There are quite a few on my walks and they worry me.

Glad she's ok - gosh I've got loads of mushrooms sprouting here & there in my garden. Luckily Tilly doesn't bother with them until I go to get rid of them, then she's interested! but she hasn't eaten any, thank goodness. I'll have to make sure I get them all when she's not out there.
