Barking Heads? Anyone tried it?

Today I ran out for food for the boys Bad planning on my part, as I'm due to pick up a sack this weekend (Arden Grange Large Breed)...

Anyway, I stopped off somewhere that I knew I could pick up a small bag of dog food at 6.30pm... they don't stock AG, but usuall have Burns, Dr Johns etc.

I saw a small bag of Barking Heads, and had a read of the packet, and decided to try it (Bad Hair Day, Lamb and Rice)

The boys wolfed it down, licking their bowls at the end. The pieces were very small, so their bowls looked very full (though I'm feeding about the same weight-wise I think?), and the small pieces slowed Murphy's eating down a lot.

So, has anyone else tried BH - what did you think? Did you change your food to it permanently?

Looks really good ingredients wise, do they enjoy the arden grange just as much?

They eat the AG without any trouble, but don't dive into it quite the same... however I'm attributing that to "new dog food" syndrome....

It smells very meaty, stronger smelling than the AG I think....

ive not fed it, but i have looked at, and ingredient wise it seems really good. if i was to switch back to biscuits then id definately give it a go. its cheaper than AG isnt it?

I got a bag of the salmon last week and Finn loves it. Usually he leaves food all over the floor but since adding this to his bowl its all hoovered up.

Will be trying Star on the lamb and rice when her usual food is running low.

Probably about the same I think, as BH is a 12kg sack and AG is a 15kg sack...

2 BH sacks would last a month

1 AG sack lasts 3 weeks

But you don't pay for the AG, so it's a LOT cheaper!

Nope, we can't, I checked too.
I wonder if they only supply direct - a lot of companies do that
But a lot are now slowly starting to go through wholesalers
