Morning Moyra and all to follow.
Hope you are managing to social distance Moyra when walking Amber.

We popped over to Michael and Margaret yesterday dropped their bits off for which they were very grateful and have left me money for more bits if they are unable to get out, they are not self isolating but being cautious.

Must be a bungalow thing black mould, our friend gets it found out yesterday Michael and Margaret do and we get it or rather got it.
After much googling I tried white vinegar on kitchen roll, wipe it off then spray neat white vinegar on the walls. Seems to of worked.
Let Margaret know so she asked if when we were out if I could pick her some up. Popped into Tesco and saw a notice about limited to 3 items I thought baked beans etc., and so did Gorden and toilet rolls and kitchen rolls were 2 per customer.
Picked up 3 bottles white vinegar for myself and 3 for Margaret to be told I could only have 3. So they are limiting 3 items per customer for non essential goods.
Managed to pick up a few bits for the food bin not much and pretty useless anyway but am sure something is better than nothing.

I am beginning to think we need the army on to control the crowds and queues and get this under control. Nearly every shelf was empty stock up by all means I do when shop normally on certain things especially if on offer but this isn't stocking up it's pure greed.
Chris I think you are right regards people making a profit, there is a guy going round videoing certain corner shops who are selling a 4 pack toilet roll £3 for £10 and small bottle of hand sanitiser gel 50p for £6.90. He is outing them on book of the face.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are keeping safe and well.

Good Morning g Moyra, Lynn and all who follow

Pleased you got some things that you needed Lynn. The shops should have started limiting items as soon as they realised people were stock piling. They can't seem to fill the shelves quickly enough so that even in the early morning the shelves are still empty

Not going near the shops today Have just scarified the lawn and it is now raining so done it just in time.

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

I think the point of the guy videoing Kazz is that some people are buying all the toilet rolls up and hand sanitiser etc., then selling them in their corner shops for exorbitant amounts of money so he is shaming them.
Also people as Chris mentioned selling these things on ebay to make a profit out of other people's misery.

Enjoy your day pottering we are to today had enough of trying to get things we have all we need for a while and we know Michael and Margaret are sorted for a week or two. We can relax a bit now.

Yes Lynn, good for that man naming and shaming, the common excuse is "the supplier have put up their costs" well my theory is tell the supplier that you won't buy it, I have seen a bottle of Calpol in a chemist at £20!!
