My Colin is - Buster Cassies big Cracker!

Picked by his breeder because...

Her grandkids named him buster;
His mum was Cassie;
He was the biggest of the litter;
and he is a cracker (biased much!)

Mine were Rene of Ronari, Merry of Anrol, Sally, who never had a reistered name, Sian of anrol Anrol cai costawci, Bygoly Cariad of anrol, Anrol Dewiniaith, He was anrol Dewin but the KC rejected Dewin & as that was was his name I added the ending & they accepted it.My favourite name was the one I gave his sister from the litter anrol digon da which means good enough in Welsh. Videx Kayos, he never got of anrol as I put off doing it & he got his stud book number so it was too late when I applied. Bye the bye his mothers name was videx havoc & his halfbrother videx riot. Spot a theme. Then I had annis angel My latest is graychelseas Hannah vom nikonis & then my two rescues on activities register have been dear Dax & beloved Boyo

Merlin isn't registered (would be Activity reg if so) and even though he's unlikely to ever need a regd name, I'd still like him to have one.... I've got one chosen which I hope isn't taken but there's no way I can find of checking.... so it'll have to remain secret. It's a song title though, which ties in with the magician Merlin thing.

It's also unlikely I'd ever have an affix/kennel name as I strongly doubt I will ever breed, but I have one picked out, I know it's not already taken. Maybe I will register it one day just for the heck of it, as it can be added to Merlin's regd name and any other dogs I may own in future.

I had a GCCF registered prefix (probably still valid) from when I bred cats. The cats I owned over the years were:
Adreeam Fuchsia (Seal point Siamese)
Pr. Sisophon Salamander (Choc Oriental Spotted Tabby - as the Pr shows, a Premier...neuter champion, almost got to Gr Pr)
Suroshan Petit Verdot (Choc Oriental Spotted tabby)
Tianlex Lotus Blossom (Seal Point Siamese)

....and I enjoyed finding names for the kittens I bred & registered, many of those were song titles too, and some of the more unusual ones were Cocteau Twins tracks.

I did register one very vocal rather classic-looking Seal Point Siamese kitten as Maurice Mynah!

I know this is an old thread but....

My mum had a KC registered Cairn terrier called Ginny. The bitch's KC name was Golden Orchid, dog was Highland something (can't remember). So Ginny was registered as Highland Orchid....aka Highly Awkward

I also thought if Cain ever went on the activity register I would call him HurriCain Whirling Dervish
