At least it turned out for the best Carole, I know you were upset when the vet told you Star had a murmur.

I know

Always get a second opinion if you question the treatment your vet advises if you are unsure. That is what Im doing in the future.

I think my vet is great she is lovely. The assistant woman - I don't know what they are called - took the puppy class so we have gotten to know them and they are always giving you free toys and treats. Also when sonny had acne they didn't charge us for the stuff - so touch wood that I still feel that way after time.

Sounds as if you have a good vet We got a free puppy pack with treats and toys, then at the 8 month health check (free) we got some more toys. Still did not make Star like her though

I've got a lovely vet he has even offered to put up a camp bed in reception for me. And the charges are very reasonable and if I can't pay the whole bill at once I just settle when I can.

Well i absolutely LOVE the vet that i use for my piggies. I took one last week and he checked her over and scanned her, and gave me some baytril for her and the charge was £2.07. He's fab.
However i have to travel quite a distance to get to him. I can't seem to settle for a decent doggy vet. Most just aren't experienced enough in my breed.
Nursey, have you tried Croft vets? They have several surgeries around your area. Not cheap mind, but i can highly recommend Jonathon Bell. Hasn't got the 'bedside manner', but, i do believe he knows what he's talking about. At least he did when he worked down here.

I have Dizzy, lol. Several times.
I really respect him for his knowledge of back problems. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Is that the vet you were referring to further up this post?
