I know it makes you feel awful to keep them cooped up but if I were you I would wait until she has seen the vet. To be on the safe side. It's only another day.

Yes I hope so. But if anything untoward occurred when you hadn't been given the OK - you'd be feeling a lot worse than you do for not taking her out now!

Hi Jayne not long to wait now then you can take gentle walks with Daisy before getting back to normal.

To be honest I think it would be more than safe to take her out on the lead but you know her best.. Mine was racing around after the first week still with her "lampshade" on, lol. but there again... it's only 1 more day xx

Hope OP comes back to let us know. thing is as has been said it is only another day to see the vet (and that day's today isn't it?)

And this forum is full of posts from dog owners who do keep their dogs on lead and are careful with them and they STILL end up having accidents, cut paws, sprains, sore eyes, diaorrhea and all sorts (Jenny's dog has a very nasty tail injury at the mo and she's no idea how he got it or what caused it - a prickle or a bite) and the last thing you want when your dog is 'in recovery' with stitches is another problem on top. Or any risk of infection in the wound or cross infection from another wound. Just not worth it IMHO.
