Vaccination And walking

Hi All

I own 13 week lab pup who is no five days after her second vacs, I am very lee to stay socialising her outside of puppy group I have been going to an also going on short walk.

There seems to be some confusion of the period of time to be left after the second vacs before she can leave the house and garden, I always thought it was a week however I read in some forums that it should be two weeks.

Whilst is an sure there is no hard and fast answer I would be keen to here from other owners as to their point of view.

Thanks

Glyn

I waited two weeks after the second injections to take Bailiie out, and then we never looked back! She loved her first walk and all the rest since.... Enjoy

One week after the second vaccination they can go out.
You can carry the out in your arms before that to get them socialised. A good place to go is a supermarket. Drive there carry them across to the seat and sit them on your lap. They hear lots of noise and get lots of attention from adults and children alike, excellent for socialisation.

We've always left it one week after the last vacs.

That said - I took Breagh on a Dogesy meet walk when she was between 1st and 2nd vacs.

Everybody took turns carrying her and it did her the world of good meeting all the nutters life could throw at her.
