PAWS IN THE PARK - Leyland, Lancashire

Hi all, just thought that I would put the attached flyer on here for anyone interested in coming to a fun dog show in Leyland, Lancashire on the 9th and 10th July.

• Has your king or queen of canines got what it takes to win one of our fun dog show classes and take home a rosette? (Sunday only - registration begins at 11.00am with classes starting at 11.40am. £1 per class. Proceeds to Northern Greyhound Rescue)
  
• Can your dog sit on command when the music stops? Then see if you can win our Musical Sit competition and take home a doggie hamper! Register at 11am onwards on Saturday at the Paws in the Park marquee. Competitions start at 12.45pm
  
• Watch our working dog demonstrations, including displays by UK Guide Dogs, Lancashire Fire Detection Dogs and Bowland & Pennine Mountain Rescue (Saturday only)
  
• Learn more about dog massage, grooming techniques and basic health checks with our Dog Workshops
  
• Let your dog go wild on our agility course – fastest dog around the track wins a prize!
  
• Be amazed by our Heelwork to Music display by Tail Tapping Antics
  
• Is your dog a pampered pooch? Then take part in our fun dog accessory Parade (Saturday only; please pre-register your dog using contact details below)
  
• Pamper your pooch by visiting our stalls and marquees offering homemade dog treats, dog grooming, pet accessories, free vet checks, microchipping, as well as supporting our local dog charities and rescue centres who are committed to helping homeless or unwanted dogs find a new home
  
• Why not finish off the day by pampering your pooch at our mobile dog groomer, followed by a personalised photo of your best friend

Wow that sounds fantastic!! Lancs is a bit far for me though maybe next year when I am earning more.

Dogs Trust Merseyside are donating doggie hampers to the winners of the Musical Sit Competitions on Saturday 9th July so get training! Competitions start at 12.55pm and 13.25pm.
