The dogs that failed, were they all UK dogs?

The pug passed and so did the smooth Chi. I think the smooth chi was late in the ring.

There is no resv BOB only best opposite sex.

The CC has not been confirmed so I am guessing that it may depend a discussing after.

CCs are always confirmed later

The chow and the shar-pei got pulled out in the final cut of the group, so nothing in those cases and the French Bulldog. So with the pug and chinese crested, that's 5 down, 8 to go.

Just watching it being discussed and I have to say, the kc are coming across very well. I totally agree that they shouldn't put another dog from that breed forward as it will give a very big message it just isn't acceptable! Again, well done the KC and more 4 for their stance and discussing it.

They CANNOT put the reserve CC or BOS forward as that is not the way it works.

If the judge deemed the BoB the BoB and the vets fail it, then logic dictates that all the others behind it are worse.

You have to remember that the reasons for the vets decisions are different to if and when a CC winner is disqualified from its award due to say KC details incorrect, entered in wrong category etc etc.

In that case the RCC will take the ticket because it says on the RCC that it is worthy of being a Champion had it not met its better.

Thus, the KC will achieve its objective by only rewarding dogs which do not have exaggerated features which could impact on form and function.
