I have been around so many dogs for such a long time I guess I have caught most of what there is to catch by now..

Puppies lick your mouth to stimulate regurgitation, and adult dogs lick your mouth to see if what you had for your meal was better than the food which they had for theirs .

Also to me the fact that a dogs tongue might have been near it's bum is no worse than putting a whole peace of animal in your mouth and swallowing it

Cassie is always very sparing with her kisses, but if she does happen to give me one, she always goes for my mouth!!!! If I've been away and she's very happy to see me,she even tries french kisses - eeeeeuuuuwwwwww yukkkkkk! Georgie just likes my feet!

I wonder how many who eat animals kidneys think about the job that kidney did.....eeeuuuuwwww doesnt come close !

Barney doesn't lick at all - but Jack likes to try and lick your face and sometimes he does get my mouth - I just wipe it off when he isn't looking - I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings

BUT only on the cheek -not in the lips!!

i'm sure they'd love to but is strictly not allowed - yuck!!

Both my girls would kiss the face off ya if they could.. apparently their disposition to licking is in their breed description!!
I don't like licking but will allow the occasional kiss on the hands or arms..but Popps is quick and sometimes gives me a lovely soppy face kiss

Got to admit to kissing my girls lovely peachy tums though, especially the little pup
