Lynn, sorry Dillon is limping again, hope you can cure it.

Griff, lovely looking car, what did the garage do to cost all that money?

Brakes, clutch master and slave cylinder, refurbished the alloys, new headlining, new cooling system, air con overhaul, a few water leaks, fitted my new carpets, they are putting a new heater in it too, new fuel tank, fixed an oil leak, fitted new plugs leads etc...new electronic aerial and fitted my new elm ski slope, and probably a load of other things I have forgotten!! As it is a classic car, all the parts are expensive, front carpets were £200 and the ski slopes a whopping £300

I thought mine cost me enough at £600 to get through its MOT this year but most of that was welding, thanks to the valet done to the car just before I bought it when they soaked the car through!

Thanks Moyra he seems perky enough and did a wee earlier then ran in the house.
Gave him some more of his supplements with his tea now I am gradually introducing his food back and weaning him off the bland diet. Hopefully they will kick in soon and he will be walking better.
Mine cost nearly £600 to this year to get through mot like you Moyra thought that was bad enough.

Something like griffs dads jag I suppose being a classic will be more expensive and the parts and worth it.

Good evening all.

Quite an eventful day. Hubby has some sort of eye infection in his good eye (the only one he can see with) so couldn't see much at all this morning so my turn to drive. We were lucky and got a cancellation with the doctor for this afternoon and got some drops with strict instructions to go to A&E if they don't improve things in a couple of days or if things get worse. Makes you wonder why we have GPs if all they do is send you to A&E <sigh>.

Then we had a trip to Currys because my 3 year old washing machine bit the dust yesterday. It really doesn't inspire confidence when they tell you that 2-3 years is the average life expectancy of a machine unless you take out their extortionately expensive insurance. New machine isn't coming until a week tomorrow so either I buy another pair of jeans and some new knickers or I stink for the next week

I do hope that Dillon's supplements kick in quickly and well Lynn. They are such a worry as they age.

Very nice car Griff. I'm sure you'll manage to iron out all the wrinkles.

Hope the ab's work Chris you seem to be getting no respite at the moment.
My washing machine is just over 3 years old hope it works a while longer. New one in the bungalow but have said Mark and lauren can have mine when we move.
