Lovely seeing a proper GSD instead of the horrors you normally see these days. He's a lovely boy and unusual to see one doing the job they were actually bred to do

Smashing GSD - I lost mine 3 years ago at twelve and a half years old, he was a dead ringer for your chap and was bred specifically for work. A keen dog and tremendously loyal. He was. oddly, an excellent working companion for my lurchers, despite his size 48 kgs he could go through even the densest cover like tissue paper.

I love German Shepherds. Brought up with them and until recently had them.
I agree with you LG such a shame the way they are made today. Your boy looks really lovely. I love his colouring.

Thank you. He is a cracker. I also have a longhaired showline GSD and, whilst he isn't as extreme as some of the ones you see in the show ring, I won't be having another.

Thank you. I have had GSDs for over 20 years (as well as border collies) and I couldn't imagine life without them.

He's gorgeous. I love German Shepherds but have never been able to have one, there are a few in the park I go to who are working line straight backed and they're lovely.

What a cracking dog 😁 Nothing beats a nice GSD for me and can always appreciate them doing the job they are bred for. My girl has some working lines in her pedigree but she's not solely working lines unfortunately - still perfect in my eyes though
