Worst article I ever heard of was lump of steel wool, the competitor had words with the judge....

Metal teaspoon is often a favourite.

I once stewarded CD and one of the articles was a plastic flower which was stuck into the ground as if it was growing. Confused several handlers and one poor dog who was looking at it with a worried expression as he had obviously been told off for picking the flowers at home

I need to start "thinking outside the box" when finding different articles (especially as I now know you can never use the same one twice).

Thanks for all your combined experience.

We always use fresh articles in training as this is what you will find in a search square at a trial, however I know some people repeatedly use the same articles.

As you may already know we take trials classes, courses and also judge, so we go though a huge amount of articles.

All our people are encouraged to have an article box, with clean articles for training.

I keep all my articles in a Black and Decker accessory case.

Lots of compartments, handle and easy to find items.

I have now converted several trials competitors/judges to them.
