Bedspreads/throws/quilt covers

I am looking for a bedspread/quilt cover...which ever you prefer to call it.

We're looking for something modern with no patterned fabric, in a neutral colour such as mushroom, beige, ivory or something like that...but we are really struggling to find anyone who does modern well.

To give you an idea of the style we are looking at:

http://www.lombok.co.uk/Product.aspx...20Silk%20Quilt

But we went in yesterday to Lombok to see it (btw the price on the website is soo wrong - it's £179 in the store!!!!) and to be honest the quality was awful, there were little pulls and holes in it - not sturdy enough at all.

So I just wondered if anyone knows of an online store that sells really nice bedspreads which fit the modern, plain and hardwearing criteria?

Many thanks for your help.

Hi Ingrid M & S do some fantastic beautiful modern bedspread and throws, but the one I liked in a sort of furry velvet was £145!!! So I went to Nightingales and they had some cream fur ones, reversible with faux suede on the reverse, reduced from £29.99 to £12!!! I'm going to get another one, it's really beautiful.

I ordered a nice one from the Littlewoods catalogue too for my own double bed, it's brown and taupe and cream big squares, in a thick fabric, some cord I think, and it was £69 to I'll let you know when it arrives and take a pic ok!

TKMax do a good selection of bedding, not sure if the do bedspreads though.

I have a super kingsize bed, so finding bedding that fits can be quite hard at times as the biggest size most stores do is kingsize

My new double one arrived this morning! Here it is I wish the beige bits were a bit creamier, but I still like it! It was £65 or £69 at the Littlewoods Catalogue, but because I got £25 off for my first order it's only cost me £40!! I do have an eye for bargains I must admit!! It's very thick and heavy too, and lined, I shall be snug as a bug when the cold weather comes, and the dogs can't get on my new bed, it's too high, so that's a bonus, no more muddy paws on my bed!!
