Just a little brag

So, I have just started posting on this site again so I realise it's a little late.

I go to my local fete every year and enter my dogs in the companion show bit. This year I had a puppy. No-one wanted to go with me this year so I could only take the one dog. I took the puppy (10 months at the time) and he won first in AV Puppy and AV Non-Sporting in the pedigree classes, then went on to win BPIS and RBIS.

I was really pleased as in fun shows I just normally get chucked out wih my JRT's.

Also we had gone to the beach a few days before but I hadn't washed him

I know there is an argument for bringing "show" dogs to fun shows, we only had had him since 6 months and yes, I had shown him (my first show dog), but I would have been happy if I was beaten by another dog and had a great time, despite this couple trying to create crossbreed puppies with my dog and not taking the polite hints that I wanted to go see the rest of the show.

He also had a go at the little agility course they had and didn't do too badly. Obviously didn't get placed but I just did it for fun.

Extra pleased as I think from now on people will be coming with me lol

I had to lug his three rosettes, trophy and two big bags of biscuit as well as the dog himself down the road for about twenty minutes to get picked up -those things are heavy!

His name is Dexter, after Dexter Morgan from the popular TV series. Quite ironic I think

He's recently discovered his love of big muddy puddles haha
