Webcam and iphone..

Im looking for a webcam type thing that I can set up in the living room and pair with my iphone so i can watch what the dogs get up to when im out

All you need is an IP webcam, they sell for 25 to 325+ just google IP webcam for prices. Then you can download an app from the appstore that lets you easily connect to IP webcams. There are also apps that turn your iphone into a security camera you can log into from other computers. There are allot of options but the easiest and most convenient would probably be an IP webcam. That is assuming you have wifi internet at home?

Skype Set up an account just for the dogs, change the settings to automatically accept incoming calls from people on your contact list, add your own account to the contacts and voila - if you get a Skype app on your phone you can call in at any time for live feed. Some phone providers do limit Skype usage on 3G connections though, I have to be on Wifi to connect (got Wifi at work luckily so no problem)
If your PC/laptop doesn't have a built-in webcam, you can get them pretty cheap. You may need a seperate microphone if you want sound, or get a slightly less basic webcam with a built-in microphone.
