Didn't have too good a night & when did fall asleep woke up sore & tired. Am now into the pill popping regime which keeps the discomfort at bay

Dentist phoned to see how I was. Apart from feeling slightly shattered can't complain. Bit difficult to eat but I could do with shedding a few pounds anyway

Sounds GHASTLY, I suppose alcohol is out of the question?

I know I am really ill if neither alcohol nor chocolate will cure it.......................

You Poor Girl,

You have all my sympathies. There is no other pain worse than tooth problems.

It sounds as if you have been through an horrendous procedure. So bad, I'm not surprised that you cried.

Lots of liquids, pain killers, and keep yourself warm. Even if you only watch tv in bed, at least you are still resting.

Take Care

I'm afraid alcohol is out of the equation as I'm TT not for any other reason than the fact I don't like the taste of alcohol Chocolate, now that's another thing my stomach thinks my throats been cut lately. My diet consists of things easily slid down the throat, very boring & no matter how hard you try, some of the food escapes over to the side where you dont want it to go

you are up late - thought it just me did posts at these wee small hours

I went out tues afternoon round to village shop which was an error on my part as wasnt reAlly up to it. I'm one of these folk who doesn't want to give into things, pick yourself up dust yourself down & get on with it type of thing. Not always best way to be

How horrid for you.

Interesting that the dentist phoned----might be worth noting that down.

Hope you are feeling a bit better as the day goes on.

My sister said same, they did same last week following the extraction. Maybe its just something they do after a big job. They took (hubby & wife) the practice when old dentist retired few years back

Ive had a wisdom tooth out once before & my face on that side was black & blue for week & up like balloon - although theres noticeable swelling & bruising its nothing like then. Then again that was in my early 20's - a long long time ago & healthcare is much imProved

Im "achy" this morning, forgot & rinsed my mouth in cold water after washing teeth & "that" was a mistake - wont do that again
