Thanks all for your sweet comments

Its been a weird night and morning. Cant help but go see if it looks allright all the time (which it does).
Trying to find a chickenfarm today since I was told to feed it that
Also going to get mice, which should be easier.

Thanks for the links Tuti. Unfortenally they dont really apply to the falcon, as it (thank god) is so big that it just needs a bit of time before I´m letting it go.
I will only have to bring it the food but not feed it as such.
But that a good thing if you ask me Not sure I would dare take the job if it was much younger and needed more care as it would dangerous if you did something wrong and then had to set it out in the wild life again.

Fingers crossed I can get the food needed today and that it will be ok

Thanks again for your replies.

Couldnt edit this thread so will just put the update here:

WARNING - FALCON EATING PICS SAL!

The falcon is doing fine
It seems very alert and hungry.
I´ve bought some mice and chickens and it seems like that is what Mc´D is to me (yum yum)

Heres some pics of one of the meals. I´m careful not to disturb it too much as it will have to go back in the wild as soon as possible.

Now I tried not to put the worst pics of it eating on here. I know that might upset some and I really just wanted you to know that it seems fine.
Hope you´re ok with the ones I chose.

Plan is to release it next saturday early in the morning if it seems ok.
That way we have some time to catch it again if it doesnt take off.
Fingers crossed it will do that though.
Its brothers and sisters are flying now and keeps calling it to join.

You lucky devil Amts I have a huge love of birds of prey and to be able to have one, even if it is for a few days, would be bliss.

Still working on the OH to get me an Eagle owl, until then, I'll have to make do with the barn owl.

You are doing a great job amts. I wonder if perhaps it flew into something and temprarily stunned itself? We get quite a few birds crashing into our big windows and, if they don't break their necks, they just sit around looking dazed for a while.
