Neither of my two especially the greyhound like walking on stones or cobbles, so would be no good for me.
Does the decking not become slippery in the wet?

Wow what a lot of mud! Tilly only wanders round ours a bit when it's wet so it's not too bad & I stick to the patio. I do have permanent muddy towels on the kitchen floor though by the door!
Roll on summer!

Ours looked like that! We put down a black membrane that lets the water through but not back and so far it's held up the claws. In a few months we are planning in putting fake grass down as I like the green look but fed up of the mud!

I used to have a garden ... but tbh I get far more enjoyment watching my three run around and play out there than I ever did looking at the grass , lol

Our garden is just the same, a quagmire! But have to sort something out, hopefully we will be slabbing a lot in the warmer months & sort out a 'Dog Run' that can be washed down too.
Muddy Kitchen is a nightmare though ;(

He doesn't seem to mind the cobbles but does use the stepping stones where possible.

The decking isn't too bad. It's not ideal if you get no sun at all though and needs to be flat side up as groove side up is a nightmare!
