Best Throws For Sofas?

I have decided to get some throws for the leather sofas. Which would you recommend, both for size and washability? (think that is a word!!).
Thanks xxxxx

If you are having them for the dogs when you don't have guests over - Microfibre - B&M - £6 for the large ones.

We have microfibre throws for when the guests come so they don't see the scribbles on our second hand sofa or the mud that the dogs keep bringing in

They pick up mud, fur and liquids - so if you had them for the sofa before people come round and whip them off when they arrive then there would be no doggy fur (that is if your dogs go on the sofa) And they're warm and fleecy

I got mine from Lidl.
Brilliant, they are a good size and wash brilliantly.
£9 each but it's a case of being in the right place at the right time because they don't always have them.

We have quilted bedspreads from Ikea on ours (not leather but cream sofa+black and white cat and black and everything dog) which have lasted pretty well - not the best looking solution but the one that's shown the fur least of the ones we've tried.

In the end, I plumped for buying a large brushed cotton sheet in the same shade as the sofa, which I cut into two so that one could be in the wash as the other was being used.

Inbetween changeovers I use a lint roller to remove most of the hair, and that way if people come it doesn't stand out quite so obviously as being a dog blanket!

Think it depends on the material really but i find throws on leather sofas really annoying as they tend to slip and slide everywhere i ended up using some of that anti-slip stuff that you put under rugs on slippy floors!!!

Are you covering the whole sofa or just the seat bit?

xxxxxxx
