Luna isn't eating her breakfast again!!!!!! UPDATE sept. 6.

Hi guys

Well after having vacation and trying some exercises based on seperation anxiety, I was content that Luna finally was okay. I tried an exercise where Luna were supposed to sit on her blanket in the livingroom, and I were to graudally go further and further away. I could leave the apartment, and she would still be sitting there when I came back....

Well this week she hasn't been eating her breakfast at all. And she's very clingy all morning. There's no problem when I've left, she goes to her kong as I leave, and none of the neighbours has said anything (I've asked them to tell me if there's any problem with Luna howling or barking)

I just dont know what to do. Any suggestions? Or other sep.anxiety exercises, if that's what the problem is? Please help! There's no problem with eating dinner so its not a teeth problem

Jeanette

Oh Jeannette, I don't know. I hope someone can help. Poor Luna She must really miss you since you've gone back to work. Time will probably fix this, but I'm sure it must be stressful for you.

I do hope so Barbara.

Not only am I worried about her not eating, but at the same time she isnt getting the garlic to prevent fleas.

I've tried to give her tabs, she just spits them out. Then I've tried to crush the tabs and put in her food, but no chance. I've just sat and handfed her, but she's only eaten half.

Not even having Bella here makes her eat.

Maybe Luna has just got used to having you around more.

Star gets a bit depressed when the kids go back to school after the holidays. It does not last long though.

Yeah I hope its just that, and that she'll come around. I've tried sneaking back listening at the door, and there's no sound.

Thanks Sue. You're probablely right.

She just ate all of her dinner (with crushed garlic tabs from this morning as I just gave her what she didnt eat this morning plus a little extra)

I've ordered some garlic powder on the net, so I'll see if I can get her to eat that.
