Whats the best treat to use? Is it something you can break up and easy and quick to eat?

Sonny loves puffed jerky you can break it into small pieces and is has a strong smell - you can get it in supermarket

Something small but extra tasty, I use livercake or cheese but something your dog really likes. It does not have to be food it can be a toy or even a pat from you. But what ever you use it has to give your dog a reason to concentrate because the essences of clicker training is that you do nothing and your dog has to work out what is wanted. Keep it small as you can feed a lot in one training session when you first start on training a new exercise.

Yes, don't want them chewing at it, if I use cheese I cut it to about 1/4 inch, with a larger dog no more than 1/2 inch. should be strong flavour but something that goes straight down. Mind you with mine that could apply to almost anything.
