What animal does your dog remind you of?

I was watching my three running around today and just thinking about the very different ways they run.

From their running styles only, I thought:

Hoki runs like a camel - hunch backed, ungainly, but does manage a surprising turn of speed

Stumpy runs like a baby gazelle - bounces a lot, back legs often going up high with bum in the air and often seems to have no control over her legs

Tip runs like a horse - long, easy strides, covering ground quickly and effortlessly.

So, what animals (other than dogs!) do your dogs remind you of?

Monty is like a deer by day when out on a walk, leaping through the long grass.

And by night, he's like a sloth!

It is strange but Beau does remind me of a lion, the way he lies, stretches and runs.

Lula reminds me of a meercat with her beady, black eyes and long neck..........simples

My Goldie moves like a fox, head down and slinking through the undergrowth.
My Chesy reminds me of a baby brown bear, particularly when he is upside down with his legs in the air on the settee

Jess reminds me of a kangaroo when she is excited, a cat when she tries to catch things, and a fox when she is out in the fields.

Tikaani reminds me of a horse! He's piggin' huge and can take anyone down with one blow.
He wouldnt however as he's as gentle as a lamb. But he's my second horse.
My gentle giant...

Skye reminds me of a fox, the way she lies low and watches.

Bruces reminds me of a antelope when he runs sometimes and other times a horse the way he trots and brings his legs up high

I love that meercat on tv! Honey reminds me of a meercat too! When she thinks she's seen something outside she'll stand on her back legs with her front paws bent over just like a meercat

Missy reminds me of a seal! Just in looks

And Narla just remoinds me of a big bear when sleeping and mosying about but a spring buck when she's playing!!! She can't half shift when she wants to for a big dog!!!

LOL, great thread.

Dougal reminds me of a cow running. Has no clue where the brakes are and charges at full speed everywhere!

Other times...well, he snorts...need I say more *oink*
