It's like a military operation going out now that lockdown is over. Into town to the 'quiet' car park. Along the lake where only a few go and when we do see anyone it's easy to go up onto the grass to take a very wide berth. Across the car park where there are lots of cars but not so many people. Along the back street to the main shopping road where we have about 20 yards to get to the cafe so we don the masks and try to weave our socially distanced way through. Then we use the cafe where we can sit outside. They disinfect both table and chairs before you're allowed to sit and you have to wear a mask to order. All the staff wear masks and shields. As safe as we can make it but still a little worrying. We do go in earlier now to try to avoid some of the crowds.

You are reading some of my favourite books at the moment, Brenda. I really do love the Harry Potter books. Very easy reading . Good luck for the viewing tomorrow. I have everything crossed for you.
Well the move is slowly moving forward, and I think quicker than anticipated in March/April I think. I do not normally find it stressful but on occasion when out I think "stayaway" when in crowds....and people start coming closer. Chris is sounds like if you put music to your "going out activities" you could be on Britain's Got Talent LOL

Apply for a passport now by the time you get sorted you should be good?

Brenda do you have a bus pass? Any photo ID should do it but if you don't have any, there must be a way round it. Got everything crossed for you x

Afternoon everyone. Hot here again today.

Thank you sue we had a lovely time as always.
Kazz good luck with the night shift. Post it note on the fridge to remind you not to put your name down in future maybe.
Harvey glad Bruno was quieter last night regards the pigeon.
Chris must be a nightmare in the summer where you are let alone with a pandemic going on.
brenda everything crossed for the viewings.
brenda just looked it up regards having no passport or drivers licence. Birth certificate copy of original or national insurance card along with a passport photo signed on the back by someone you know and who can confirm your identity. I would imagine a Dr ?
If you can get a photo done and drop it into your surgery maybe ring first ? Or leave it in the letterbox and pick up when it's done or have it posted back might be an idea.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.

Thanks Chris and Lynn yep I looked up the same thing. There's no hurry though until it is needed. Didn't really get any vibes from today so maybe tomorrow. Hm that's a song from Annie. Kazz the clearing out is basically done apart from ornaments, what to keep and what to part with. Some are very special others not so.
Have a good evening peeps.

But do it now anyway, some times buyers are in a hurry, there's many reasons why, but you don't want to loose a sale just because you haven't got all your ID documents ready, and don't expect your solicitor to jump to help out, they want everything in order before they will start

P.S. Good luck with the viewings, sounds to me like you are getting at least the average number and everything I've read indicates that from now to next April the housing market will be 'bouyant' (That's 'estate agent' speak for 'we're gonna make bucket loads of dosh )

We are looking at getting some agents in to Gary's old flat next week to see who's offering the best deals.

They are happy with him at Barratt Court and he loves it. My figuring is that even if it sold straight away, we'd probably be waiting three or four months for the whole thing to go through so better to get it on the market before winter comes around.
