I have known from 5 years old what I wanted to be, my cousin doesn't really know what he wants and he has just done his GCSEs...he is thinking maybe engineering maybe design but he really isn't sure.
I just hope he realises he needs to put some effort in, find a direction and go for it and become more than what his mum is...and let her know he damn well did it without her.
