My personal experience of children approaching Hal or Tai and asking "is he a wolf?" is one of awe and delight when we wink at the parents and say "yes ! But don't worry, he's had his lunch so you're quite safe !!" They all think it is totally cool that they are tickling the tummy of a "wolf" !! I've never ever had one child show any fear, only interest, awe or amazement !

The older children tend to ask is he REALLY a wolf, and we reply no, but he thinks he is (in the case of Hal). And with Tai, we say no, but he looks like one doesn't he !

He is a Flat Coated Retriever. He is the one standing in this photo... he was carrying the same ball but just looked more wet and Surprise surprise) muddy, yesterday!

Thankyou They are very wolf like as you can see!!!! Poor boy though...I think he got quite a shock when Cosmo snuffled round behind him!!! The smell from the mud he had rolled in was probably bad enough in itself!!!

Note the blurry tails....from all the scary wagging they do constantly!!!!!

(Sorry about the poo bag!!!!)
