One year after my friend died - 'Hallelujah' a wee musical reminder

Some of you may remember I had to arrange the funeral for my friend Ann who sadly died of cancer one year ago aged just 45.

There was a 'get well soon' thread for her and everybody was kind enough to post loads of get well messages and doggy pics which she very much appreciated.

Anyway - I was watching X-Factor tonight and the song 'Hallelujah' was on. One of her favourite songs was the late Jeff Buckley's version (not Leonard Cohen's original) of Hallelujah so that was what was played at the service..........

I know - time flies.

I often think of you Jackie (and your John) because of my Ann.

Tonight was my first reminder in a while

Jackie - Reminders are never easy but they will always come out of the blue like they did for me tonight. You were such a star to your John. I followed your threads and understood what you were going through and I'm sure you will be an inspiration to many who face the same thing

It's a lovely song, Phil, and it's wonderful that you will always remember her - you were a true friend

(((((((Hugs)))))))......A beautiful song. Better to remember even if it is painful than to forget. See you Saturday.
