Dogs and how they show you up....

All my dogs have done it...gone for all out embarrassment and humiliation. I don't mind...I sort of expect it these days. Occassionally I question my sanity though and just how much I open myself up for such humiliation.

Cosmo starts beginners agility tonight...

So long as there are no muddy puddles nearby you should be fairly safe.....

Sounds like alot of fun! Please can we have a full report when you return?

Woohoo, brilliant.

But don't worry, everyone else's dogs will show them up as well (as will the owners show their dogs up more often than not). At our club we're always in stitches at something that either handler or dog have done.

PS - you are being reasonably sane as you are not taking both of them

No...I thought better of taking her ladyship...she is having a night on the sofa with my mum.
I think Cosmo will love it...as usual it will be a case of toning down his enthusiasm. He will bark and he will pull on the lead...and thats just for starters!

My son has always wanted to do agility with him...but is a bit worried about handling him tonight. He's asked if I will do it with him, so we'll see how it goes. I think he is worried about learning what to do himself then teaching Cosmo. Perhaps I will do it first and my son can watch..then do it when Cosmo has a clue...maybe next year sometime then!!

I think you should learn with Tango and let your son handle Cosmo...

seriously, if the class is like ours, I'd let your son do as much of it as possible. You learn each bit of equipment seperately and are shown how to handle the dogs (on lead until they are ready to be off).
