Prize Choice...

Just wondering if any of you on here have your dogs on a raw diet & use Prize Choice or Natures Menu. If so what do you think about it?

We started off on Prizechoice/AMP when we first swopped over

I stopped using them because when I defrosted the bags they would always leak blood from the meat - which made me think they werent sealed properly and Im a bit funny like that so didnt put in another order

But dogs loved it by the way- especially the disgusting looking tripe chunks with buts of skin and fur on :smt078

I sometimes add some Natures Menu to Star's dried food. Its just like nature diet and is cooked. Pets at Home do it quite often at 3 for the price 2.

I have been feeding them this every few days, gradually increasing it and decreasing their kibble. I just wanted other opinions on it, the dogs love it and for me it is convenient so I am thinking it will be a good starting point until I am totally confident.

The white fish I tried. They enjoyed it. Also like the lamb. Right now I have bags of the Natures Menu stuff in the freezer which is liver, heart, vegetables etc. So you think the quality okay then? As I say I am gonna use it as a starting point until I am totally confident.

Yeah Carole that is where I buy it. Go to the one in GW Retail Park every few weeks and buy in the 2Kg bags, I am surprised how cheap they are and how long they last compared to the kibble.

The dogs will do better on that than kibble
I think its a good starting point, the longer you feed them like this the better you get at it
