We used to watch Belle and Sebastian too. Anyone remember another foreign one called The Singing Ringing Tree. I think there was a black bear in it. Those were the days when you could fix the telly just be thumping it on the top!

I also liked The Waltons.

Chocker Block thats one that sticks in the memory but not a lot of other people seem to remember

Count Duckula, Wind in the Willows, Knightmare, Camberwick Green, Trap door, Ivor the engine, Trumpton, Playschool, Byker Grove, Finger Mouse, Grange Hill, Fun House with Pat Sharp. Oh and my all time favourite which i now have on dvd Maid Marion with Tony Robinson

He had a toad called Touchwood and called the telephone a Tellingbone (something I say all the time to the kids), electricity was called Electrickery!! It was a real good fun TV programme.

If you loved Maid Marion as a kid then i really recommend you get the dvds now as they are so much more funnier now your an adult and much better then most of the rubbish on tv these days Plus you get to learn lots of new silly songs to annoy your friends and family with
