Hi Taflass sorry to hear you lost little Rags it's always distressing to lose a puppy particularly when it has been ill and you have nursed it.

If Rags was a lot smaller than the rest there may have been some internal problem, sometimes these things don't become apparent until a puppy is weaned. Discontinuing a dams milk can also make little puppies with poor immunity susceptible to infection. At least little Rags will be sleeping now and free of pain.

I've just read through this entire thread and I am so sorry for your loss. Poor little girl. You had your hopes raised and then dashed. I have to agree with Mini. There could have been so much more going on with her than you realised and she is probably better off now but I know that is of no comfort to you. Again I am so sorry you lost her but you really did the best that you could.

Run free little girl. xx

Lots of ((((Hugs))))) to you. I am so sorry to read your sad news.
As was said there could have been a lot more going on that you couldn't see as she was so small.
Take comfort in the fact that the time she was with you was happy.
Run free little Rags
