Crufts 2013 Best in show .

Well done to the wonderful Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen Jilly. a well deserved win.

I had my money on her or the lab, so was pleased they both got placed.

I had her down to win before the show started! having said that she certainly looked the part, I preferred the Australian cattle dog to the lab, the lab was a bit heavy for my taste.

I loved the afghan in the hound group (might be a smidge biased) I just love the movement.

I liked the Aussie too, she was in fabulous condition, but jilly stood out for me, and its a nice note to end her showing days on, you cant do better than that.

I loved the Lab, (not my fave breed) he looked so happy and healthy and to be honest, thought his owner/handler deserved it as much as the dog did , for showing such sportsmanship throughout the judging.

They were all worthy winners, all nice fit examples of their breed.... loved every minute of it.

Loved Jilly, and was reassured when they said she is naughty at home LOL

Loved the chap who could speak much English too saying speak to his dog !

I'm not a huge fan of Crufts went once and said never again but many of the breeders are doing their best with their breeds. And all the dogs in the winners circle looked happy and healthy.

Can we discuss the show/no in another thread please. This is starting to detract from the fact that a very worthy winner retired winning the greatest dog show in the world.

Congratulations on a wonderful win Jilly.

What is it with me? I chose first one then another, and by the end I wanted them all to win for various reasons. It was the same feeling as going to a rescue and only choosing one. Far to difficult for me to do. Am I just a big softy or do we all do this?

I'm glad the Lab got placed. Nice to see a good solid example of the breed. I also thought the owner was very witty LOL, "My English is not very good, talk to my dog"

Jilly was obviously very cute and well done to her for winning! But as a Bernese myself I obviously favoured the Bernese Mountain Dog. But I'm only slightly biased there
