daf food is ok

Yes, its supplied by daf. I ordered chicken, turkey,tripe,venison and beef and so far my dogs like them - i usually feed Natural instinct but wanted a bit more variety.

I ordered chicken wings too but think the prize choice ones are better as they are bigger.

Depends on what you class as prey model. The definition on the raw feeding Wikipedia article is "The "Prey model" diet attempts to simulate the proportions of an actual prey animal in a pet's diet"
I base mine on the proportions of the prey model diet - the 80/10/10 ratio. Unfortunately I can't feed as much whole animals as I'd like - I do get "whole" chickens - but they're plucked and portioned. The only whole prey animals (unskinned, unportions) I've fed on a regular basis is rabbit and chicks. I know of a butcher that specialises in hog roasts so hope to get raw trotters and maybe the odd pigs head in the future, but mine have been on minces, chunks and fillets for the past 2.5 years.
How many people on here actually feed solely/the majority of the diet as whole prey? Yet how many would happily summarise their dog's diet as "prey model"? I know some members prefer not to label their "method" at all, but for the sake of defining it, I will call mine prey model (or, at least, based on it). It may not be 100% accurate but close enough IMO

I agree, I try and feed whole foods where possible but it's certainly not every meat. Cain gets ribs, wings, chicken quarters, pig trotters, cow feet etc which isn't "whole" but at least part whole. The only "whole" I can feed is furred rabbit or fish. I'd like to feed feathered bird but it's very hard to come by in London, bit easier for rural folk with game keeper friends!

Cain generally gets one whole/chunky meal a day but he also get one mince meal on most days too. I still consider it prey model as I feed the 80/10/10 ratio. Some people feed all food mince as they don't want to feed whole bones, I obviously prefer the benefits of feeding bones to crunch, but nutritionally speaking a person could provide a all mince meals as long as they balance was right without any problems. While "purist" prey model feeders encourage whole foods only, I find it a bit impractical and I see no problem with feeding mince too
