That dog could have won without the handler!! He just ooozed charisma and character!
Anyway he's done it now, cos I want a Flattie!!

I suppose the handlers could have been tired, it is an all day event, plus nerve racking The dogs looked happy to me, but hey I may be wrong!!

We all watched the same programme yet a few choose to see something different from the rest - hmmm.... Its about time some people got a grip.. I didnt see one distressed dog, nor one being choked..These dogs do brilliant to be there for most of the day, early starts and still be able to perform.

Flat coat deserved it, 9 yrs worth of showing...well deserved imo ...
what surprised me too was the handlers were all older, except for 1 girl I think who looked more like she was showing herself and her new boots lol...

I don't think people choose to see anything - I think some people are maybe just more aware of different things.

I dont think thats the case at all.. I always look at how a dog is being handled, come with part of handling yourself - so I have no doubt that other handlers watch how the dog is being shown.

I can remember seeing one and I forget which were I thought that dog would move better if you gave it some slack in the lead.

Its real easy to sit in the arm chair and pass judgement. I have been showing for about 10 years but I know to morrow just going in the breed ring I will have to go to the loo several times first. If I ever made it to the big ring I would need some tena ladies

The German pointer took a few gulps as he went off, but the handler quickly re adjusted the lead and he was fine....didnt see any choking :s

Also thought the pointer handler couldve done with running a bit faster!
