Jake is at the vets

Jake had to be rushed to the vets earlier . He will be ok, but has a bad cut on his side. I took him out for a walk, and had been out for about an hour when he was running through the trees, like he always does. But when he came out, he had a big hole in his side. I panicked so called my bf who drove down with his dad. They drove us to the vets, and he is there just now. He needs to be put under anesthetic, and have it flushed and stitched. Need to call back at 3 to find out how he is and when I can pick him up. My poor boy .

How awful - you must be so scared for Jake.

I'm sure he'll be fine once he's been patched up.

Big hugs, hon x0x

Poor Jake Everything crossed here for you both x

I was in the vets yesterday with Diesel, and this lady was in there with her whippet bitch, she said the dog had been playing on a big field like she always does. She passed out and was covered in blood, she had a 5 inch gash to her neck, poor girl The owner even went back the next day to try and find out what had happened But she couldn't see anything..........

She said the vet had told her she was so lucky to still have her girl, she was having the stitches removed yesterday

Hope Jake is OK, please keep us updated x

Poor Jake and poor you as it is very frightening when something like that happens. Hope he isn't too traumatised by his accident. Sending hugs for a speedy recovery x
