Bless him.......You wasn't to know about having it removed earlier, you trust your vet, so it should have been them that mentioned it earlier x

Thanks for the comments guys. I know i'm probably kicking myself for no reason but I'm just worried about him.

Also can anyone answer a question for me regarding insurance. We're with Direct Line and if we choose to claim the biopsy on insurance am i supposed to notify them before he has the treatment or after?

I don't think they'll cover it because he was born with this - it would count as a pre-existing condition (worth checking though, just in case...)

I would be worried too, it's only natural.
Although you keep thinking it would be better if it had been done when he was younger I would think it better not to delay any longer.
Did you ask the vet why no one had suggested this op before?
Good luck, I hope all goes well for you and Monty.

That's what I thought but i was thinking that as long as any vets notes don't state that he had it from birth would i then be ok??

I did ask the vet but obviously he couldn't really speak for the other vets views and it was the first time he'd seen Monty.

In answer to someonez question about it causing problems later it it got bigger. Some of these things, they can get caught or banged & bleed fair bit especially if they get bigger.

Fingers crossed for good results from the biopsy. xx
Esme, you're not a professional , you can only be guided by the vets, so please, don't feel guilty. You only ever do the best for Monty, you're a good mum *hugs*
I'd ring Direct Line and ask them - best be on the safe side .

Should I tell them that he was born with the bald patches and they have grown since or not??
