Skye was over a 400 mile trip I think......all the way to Wales.....spent a week there on holiday (with Skye a long story) and all the way back.
bruce was only at a rescue about 3 miles away.

And Reah.....well that's been a billion miles (only I'd understand that one)

I went to Manchester to get my darling Toro, 4 hr drive there and 4 hrs back, she was as good as gold on the way back slept the whole time, I had originally planned on travelling to S wales for an EBT so I would have gone the distance no matter how far...

Max from a rescue 16 miles away, Skye from a colleague around 30 miles away, Flynn from a rescue 80 miles away and Wisp from a breeder 200 miles away (there and back)

My son fetched his GSD from a trainer/breeder in Wales a round trip of 800 miles which he made twice.

I wouldnt change my mind on the breed I wanted because of distance and equally would travel any distance for a particular dog I wanted.

i travelled from Derbyshire to Wiltshire for Hector, once to see the litter at 4 weeks old then again to pick him up. 300mile round trip.

Bonnie was Derbyshire to Lincolnshire, 300mile round trip again, she was from a rescue!

so the right dog is worth travelling for. Anywhere!

Humm....Siren was in Nottingham, so I combined it with a holiday and a show.

Would have been a round trip of about 700 mils done in one go - accounting for holiday and show would have been a few more miles!
