When entering an open show...

Do you get sent any paperwork after entry or do you just turn up and let them know you are there.

Sent my form and fee off about a month ago and still not heard anything, the cheque has cleared my bank.

Dont want to bug the secretary unless I have to.

If the cheque has cleared then you're entered at the show! I've never asked for proof of postage and have never had an entry go missing, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

When you get to the show you just need to find out what ring you're in and where your breed is in the judging order, then when it's your class go into the ring and tell the steward your number (all of which will be in the catalogue).

Oh how I miss showing. Good luck!

ETA: The catalogues will be at the Secretaries Table which stands out because it's surrounded by people looking at the other catalogues for future shows!

You dont need to report to the sec hun, just go in the ring when the class is called and the ring steward will give you your number. Good luck xx

You will need to report to the secretary if you have ordered a catalogue though.

Depends most of the open shows I've been to the catalogues are on the door as you enter with a commitee member.

I think it depends on the size of the show doesn't it.

I've never had to report to the secretary! Sounds like we're enrolling in to the army!

The catalogues have always been at the Secretary's/Commitee's Table. I've always just given my name if I pre ordered or bought one if not.
