Possibly although she doesn't have alot of head contact with kids her own age anymore, our friends daughter is six and at primary school, her mom has a constant battle with them,it seems every other week she's got them

Liz is going through the stroppy teen stuff so wasn't at all happy,I always keep head lice solution stuff in the cupboard, just incase!

AArrgghhh I hate head lice!

My daughter is always getting them I check her hair with a nit comb every other night as they just seem to pass around her class so quickly and they cant keep on top of it...

I think we should have a National head lice day where everyone gets treated so they vanish completly!!! lol

Head lice seem to be every where It doesn't matter which school you go into they all have the problem some time.
I bought myself on of those electronic combs from Boots. After working in a class where they were rife. You can use the comb regularly as a check, no nasty chemicals. It makes a noise if it finds anything and zaps the little horrors

Awww bless her. You'll have to tell her they only like clean hair....or maybe not, she'll stop washing it.

Thankfully *touch wood* Davie seems to have missed them so far. I wouldn't know what to look for to be honest.

They are horrible arn't they. My daughter gets them quite frequently. I have tried everything but unfortunately i think a lot of the girls in her class battle with it as well.

Bring back the nit nurse is what i say!!

The trouble we have is you get rid of them for a month or two and they she catches them again. She has long thick hair and its a nightmare doing the nit comb thing. You have my sympathy. I was hoping that when she got to big school next year it would all stop.
